    Sadly, it was demolished in 2008.


    If only there was an extensive urban reconstruction on the damage brought by WW2, or at least a subway system was built instead of light rail,

    the infamous Avenida Rizal might still be known today as our own version of the ‘Broadway’.

    I hope that this will not be the fate of the remaining stand-alone theatres in Manila like the Capitol in Escolta. Save our heritage structures!

    But I think the former design is much better:

    I call it the “DNA building” LOL. They call it the “Wrapped Tree.”
